1. Nope. This is DemocraticBASHINGUnderground.
And there must always be a reason to propagandize against the Democrats. No matter what.

7. We can't hope for the pukes to do the right thing.
But we can insist that the Dems do.

Bashing republicans is shooting fish in a barrel. Maybe lets off some steam, but holding the folks that we elected to account is more useful.

2. You are not on my Ignore list. = Does this meet you minimum daily requirement?
I could have written more material like this,
but I've wasted half the morning herding cats.

The Top Ten Reasons Why Political Reality Must Remain Insane

If they turned things upside down, so up would be up again, and down down,
this is what Bush would have announced at his morning presser:
10.) The secret government has been disbanded because the Sandinistas are no longer considered terrorists. (Had to have one funny one.)

9.) The United States will begin a program of demilitarization, and all sales of arms and military support programs are terminated by Executive order. We are getting out of the arms business permanently, period.

8.) The White House is called for the resignations of Senators Dominici, Stevens, Vitter, and Craig, and is reviewing CREW's list to determine who else should go home for good. The slightest past corruption of any kind will be met with the greatest possible punishment.

7.) The United States will discontinue illegal spying on its citizens. Everyone will have a right to know what information the government has collected on them.

6.) The White House is calling for a sufficient number of wholly independent Special Prosecutors to address all current scandals.

5.) All document requests from Congress will be met by the end of business today, and all subpoenaed witnesses have been ordered by the President to fully cooperated with the lawful investigations of the Congress.

4.) A reconciliation commission will be established to address the issue of the illegal conquest of most of North America, one purpose of which will be to restore justice to the Native Peoples of America.

3.) The United States is willing to discuss peaceful resolution of any conflict, and seeks to resolve all conflicts amicably.

2.) The War on Iraq was a mistake built on lies and deception, and the U. S. forces will be withdrawn as soon as reasonably possible. Some draw downs of security forces began today.

1.) Dick and I stole the 2000 and 2004 elections, and we are such total screw ups we have decided to resign and go home to our ranches to cut brush.

3. the 11% approval of congress is because LIBERALS are disapproving
because the people we elected to change the course of our country are:

a. not listening.
b. getting outmaneuvered by the GOP at every turn.

13. Nor am I giving them one.
Had I posted on this issue, it might have read "I am really ticked at Sens. Leahy, Feinstein, et al. over this MoveOn vote", or more snarkily, "And to Sens. Leahy, Feinstein, et al., I bequeath... a boot to the head!" It was just that the whole tone of the coward/disgrace thing seemed a bit over the top, when after all, it is "Enron John" Cornyn who is most to blame.

Aside: Is anyone here really that surprised that DiFi finked out on us (again)? Leahy is the one that really flabbergasts me. :wtf:

6. Here -- bash Ted Stevens...
He's always good for some outrage.

http://www.adn.com/front/story/9316521p-9231286c.html

WASHINGTON -- A construction worker who oversaw renovation of Sen. Ted Stevens' home said his company also paid him to help run fundraisers for the Alaska Republican, a practice that appears to violate federal campaign finance laws.

Contractor Robert Williams is a key witness in a bribery investigation that stretches from Alaska to Capitol Hill and threatens legal and political headaches for the Senate's longest-serving Republican. The FBI is investigating whether Stevens received illegal gifts from Veco Corp., the once powerful Alaska oil contractor.

<snip>

Williams said he also helped run annual fundraising pig roasts for Rep. Don Young, another Alaska Republican who has come under scrutiny in the Veco investigation. The fundraisers were among many Williams said he worked on during his more than 13 years at Veco.

<snip>

Fundraising and favors are at the heart of the corruption investigation, which has ensnared several Alaska legislators. Allen has pleaded guilty to bribing lawmakers and is cooperating with the FBI. He admitted in court last week that his employees provided "some labor" on Stevens' house in 2000, but Williams recalled the job in greater detail.

11. That's the spirit. I'm trying to get him to resign.. And not next week.

Will Sen. Ted Stevens (R-AK) Resign This Week? He finally has his road to nowhere.

15. And may I say you are doing a truly commendable job.
I can't understand why Ted's troubles aren't gaining more attention? I guess bathroom sex and whatnot is just so much more -- well -- SEXY.

14. Honestly, I don't see how anyone could
have missed that it was satire, but I guess the language here as become so over the top, that it fit right in. I knew that if I wrote something serious, it would get ignored. Alas, as you know too well, important information and sober minded opinion is not nearly as much of a draw as inflamatory self-righteous bull.
