Poll question: The Upcoming Frontloaded Primaries: For the Leaders or the People?
Edited on Thu Sep-20-07 06:12 PM by tom_paine
Think about it. Then answer, please.

Why would we be moving primaries to WINTER? How 'bout a nice ice storm to keep those Filthy Little Nobodies away from the polls and the Democratic Leadership along with the grotesque MSM get to have EVEN MORE infulence (how much more than 100% can you get) in choosing a candidate for the Filthy Little Nobodies (that's us) instead of the foolish and anachronistic way of the Old American Republic and letting Filthy Little Nobodies choose for ourselves.

It might have been the American Way, but it's not the Amerikan Way.

So, okay, there are all the ususal counter-arguments that the Dems put forward for doing this, but I can't think of a one that makes the least bit of sense other than voter suppression is now viewed as helpful to the Democratic Leadership, too, at least when trying to ensure the Filthy Little Nobodies pick the "correct" candidate, and the best way to do that is to ensure as few of us "vote" as possible, particularly when you consider that the Democrats do not have anything like the Bushie Vote Supression and Inflation Program, which leaves OUR Leaders with cruder old fashion methods in order to gain the same results.

If anyone feels they can defend the new Winter Primaries, feel free to do so because I can't give it a good defense myself.

1. I think
I think is a good way of thinning the pack early. so the focus of the spotlight can be rendered. I also believe in government funding presidential elections. However the New Hampshire, Iowa thing is flawed, as Wyoming is sparsely populated too.

2. That may be true but primaries in the DEAD OF WINTER?!?
Sure, it could simply be Democratic ineptitude and confusion, Lord knows there's certainly a surplus of that, walking once again right into the Bushie uppercut chin-first.

But lately, I can't help but scrutinizing our Democratic Leadership in the same way as the Bushies because their enabling and they way they hate the Base as much as the Bushies has earned them that scrutiny.

3. Wow, it sunk like a rock.
One more shameless kick and then I will accept the DU verdict, as it were, that this is not meritworthy of discussion.

That's fine, if true. They can't all be winners.

But this thing about moving the primaries up to WINTER is fucking crazy, no matter how you slice it.
