Today I turned off Randi for Ed Shultz...

I've tried and tried to stand behind her but she treats callers as bad or worse than any RW radio talker and that's how she treats people that agree with her. After the second time she slammed Kerry for not going down to personally take that taser away from the cops (OK I'm exaggerating but that's what it seems it would take for her to give Kerry some slack). I finally switched to Ed Schultz on the local progressive talk station. I'm not really a Schultz fan but I couldn't listen to her any more.

I think I'll just listen to music or XM Comedy for a while. Don't think that I make this decision lightly. I've been listening to her since AAR's inception.

I can barely listen to any talk-radio though.

13. I listened to Guy James today

Randi has been a little over the top regarding the tasing incident.

14. Randi can be terrible with some callers

but she is knowledgable and funny and has excellent guests other times.

Ed Schultz isn't as bad with the guests but he's got a lot of opinions that I don't care for, and I can do without the sports talk, and he does remind me of Rush, and he's arrogant, and once a week is plenty.

So, I guess you have to pick and choose. Our Madison local guy is great!
