With NO disrespect for the Honorable Hillary Rodham-Clinton, I must ask this question:
Are you or your campaign people gluttons for punishment?

Of all things to throw out now,...a healthcare plan? After being DEMOLISHED by the RWers on this issue before, why of all the issues to pluck and analyze and propose a plan would you choose healthcare?

Seriously,...are you gluttons? I mean, surely SURELY you just HAD TO ANTICIPATE absolute destruction, especially at this stage of the game. Why not choose something that did NOT cause you suffering in a previous state of your life?

I JUST DO NOT GET IT.

I'll tell you straight up: I will vote for you, Senator Rodham-Clinton, should you make it through the RW and, for that matter, LW onslaught because I do believe you have what it takes to lead this nation AND I do believe you will turn this nation around once you have the power to do so.

However, I wonder if you seek to win or to get another round of RW abuse by your decision to go with the healthcare issue.

I JUST DO NOT GET IT.

Oh, well. Good luck to you. Sincerely.

1. She wouldn't have been
able to participate at the SEIU event without it - she wants that endorsement, but I think Edwards will get it. ;)

3. There is no reason insurance companies should be involved
Something HRC may have understood that in '93, but her current plan.....

4. What are her choices?
Seriously, what is she supposed to do?

Every poll shows that national health care is a major priority for dems. So, does she just ignore it?

She had to come out with a plan. She knows she is going to get hit. She's not stupid. She's also trying to turn it to her advantage by pointing out that she's been in the trenches on health care before & has come out better for it. Whether that plays is yet to be seen, but she has no options.

6. Why not go for the jugglar,...the "fairness doctrine" or,...for that matter,...
,...campaign finance!!!!

Oh, I know I KNOW I KNOW I KNOW,...ew the risk involved in losing all that money and media support.

BUT, in an age where the majority of people trust NEITHER the media or the political game, WHY NOT be a catalyst for change in those arenas? WHY NOT?

10. Are you saying that Sen. Clinton should come
out with a fairness doctrine or campaign finance reform? Maybe she has. I haven't checked out her site, but I seriously doubt many Dems (read average voters) care too much about those issues while health care is at the top.

Why the hell would she call a presser for something that's not of average concern. A candidate just takes the risk of getting bashed.

14. Well, I believe both are of utmost concern because there is a NO CONFIDENCE IN GOVERNMENT,....
,...overWHELMING public opinion in existence.

WHY would any citizen of this country actually BELIEVE his/her quality of existence is going to improve WITHOUT REFORM OF ALL THAT ENGINEERS THE CURRENT POLITICAL SYSTEM?

The current political system is certainly WAY ABOVE "average concern" in this country.

OMGOSH,...I can't even believe I feel compelled to say that out loud when it is so crystal effin' clear!!!

Maybe, there are different realities among us. But, I see what is and has been around me for the last several years among people from all walks of life: no confidence in our present system of governance.

Health care should not have a profit motive.

9. She's not going to be demolished for her plan
any more than Edwards or Obama will be for theirs. There was enough taunting her to release the plan, and now she gets criticized for doing just that.

16. Um, because it's a crucial issue
I don't much like Mrs. Bill Clinton.

However in this case I must defend her. Healthcare is one of the crucial core issues that affect us. And it SHOULD be in the forefront of the campaigns.

What is she supposed to do? Bury the issue because she might get beat up over it because of her failure in 92?

Like her plan, hate it or be lukewarm about it. But she should not be criticized for raising it.
