Video: Marchers @ DC protest are asked where they came from to get to the Protest, plus pix

In this video I ask folks where they came from and how far they traveled. Some answers entailed a bit more than was asked. If you have been to Lafayette Park, this video starts in the north end of the park. Also seen is the guy from an earlier video, who was selling impeach buttons at a farmers market, and was dragged off by the Police.

This vid is of a group of Kossacks I found, or, found me, right after the start of the rally. Included are Skippy, one pissed off liberal, possum, lithium cola and srkp23. I asked possum to plug his campaign for the video, his website is here:

This was my 4th protest in DC, a bit smallish, I'm guessing about 100k showed up. One thing I did notice was a few more kids, college age, kids with parents, and even kids in strollers than in previous marchers I think thats a good thing. I also noticed a guy with a grey beard behind me that looked just like Ray McGovern, so I yelled out "RAY" and he smiled and we talked. I had met Ray at a NJ Peace Action event last November that he spoke at. He remembered the event but not me of course, pic to come.

I usually take a chartered bus or the train to DC, but I am glad I drove from NJ, as it gave me the opportunity to have dinner with a friend on Friday night, and after the march I ate dinner with some Democratic underground members. I recommend the experience, though it takes a bit to get past the screen names to their real names.

At the end of the march we arrived at the Capitol, a beautiful day.

5. I worked Sun thru thursday. 60 hrs. drivin a taxi....
