4. The 50-year facism itch. |

The 'pubs got it in the 80's and they won't rest until they see it through. I miss Clinton, too. Intelligent, likeable and NOT a coke-addled, drunken chimp.

14. And he knocked down the idea that he would have some kind of |
|
"unfair" influence....by saying that all Presidents have talked to their spouses and gotten advice...doesn't matter if their spouse happens to be a former president.

5. If Hillary becomes President, I wonder if she would |
|
give him a Cabinet post, or would the Repubbies have a drooling fit about it? I would really like to see him become SOS. Even if Hillary doesn't become President, I hope if it is a Democrat, that they consider him for SOS. There is so much Condi mess to clean up and Bill's the guy to do it.

8. I think that would be prohibited by law now |
|
Ever since RFK was his brother's AG. I am not sure, but that kind of nepotism was outlawed with some civil service reform some years ago.

had Jeb and Neill Bush in this administration if it were allowed.

11. Hillary already answered that, and she said she sees him as |

an Ambassador to the world. Someone needs to repair the reputation of the US, and I can't think of a better Ambassador than Bill to do that!

10. For me, it's like bereavement |
|
And not just for any of the comparably reasonable men that have been president since I was born. I miss that guy. I miss Bill Clinton.
When 911 happened, we all waited for the President to stand before the nation and address us and tell us that everything was going to be alright. Instead that man-child sat in a classroom, flew around in his awesome airplane and basically hid from his own country for THREE DAMNED DAYS before he mounted a pile of rubble, put his arm around a firefighter and bellowed from his brass bullhorn.
It was then that I first began to mourn, literally mourn Bill Clinton.

16. I'm not even sure how to rate George Jr, can we give a negative number |
|
when it comes to articulate and smart?
What really got me was when Clinton was getting a thunderous applause from the audience while making a point, he held up his hand for silence and it dropped to zero noise in TDS studio.
How is THAT for respect?
