Did anyone notice the cops on the taser clip while the kid was asking
the questions? They had a video camera taping him. I've noticed on a lot of protest youtube video's the cops taping people. I'm wondering if they are photo logging people into a database for further use....

2. Are you sure? It seems a lot of these people end up on no fly lists.

4. I believe you but...
I don't believe the info doesn't also go into dissident databases too. And I do believe they'll find that they had a mechanical malfunction if the cops did anything egregiously wrong. "Gee, the cameras were running but they just didn't record anything. The tapes are blank."

3. Liability protection? If I was a cop, I'd be worried about that, given how dirty they are.

5. the Dumb Shit Kid blew his chance for an honorable arrest and lucrative day in court.... and the
:nopity: opportunity to bring his Point, he was trying to make to the fore front. he did a disservice to the nationand all of us having a tantrum jerking the cops around. now he brought shame on the movement..

6. I'm not so sure... I don't think he should have been arrested. There
are times for arrests and there are times that you just let be... It was a school function. He was not threatening or really doing all that much that I thought arrest was necessary. That would have never happened at my campus 10 yrs ago. Now, if the kid was purposely causing civil disobedience at a march or rally...like crossing the barricades or something, then you expect arrest. I don't think an arrest was called for. And I don't think 5 cops over 1 kid really needed to use a Taser. The taser is used way too much in this country. And it has killed people. It is not as harmless as police officials want us to beleive it is.

8. he got arrested because he jerked the cops around.. he didn't ask kerry a question he was preaching
to him.... the asked him to leave and and tried to get him to leave and he jerked away from them and started yelling and jumping around.. the cops were obligated at that time to clear him out of the room to stabilize the situation, remove any threat to a senator. and find out if he was on something or had a medication problem or was just stupid.

they failed professionally by not just dragging him out and again by torturing him and again by doing it on camera, mistakes were made all around.. more by the supposedly professional police..:puke: and by the kid, he was obviously very immature for his age.

the use of the Tasar was totally uncalled for.. about that time else where a schizophrenic woman in a wheel chair was killed because a female cop shocked her for 160 seconds and another finished her off with a second tasar.. killing her in her wheel chair. official cause of death heart failure do to electrocution

9. I almost think he thought that others would actually get off their asses
and do something to come to his aid. I was a bit dismayed to see everyone sit there like subdued zombies. I think there is way too much apathy... this is the same reactions that happened when the Jews were taken from their homes and put into ghettos and then into concentration camps.... I am tired of apathy. I am tired of others sitting there watching something like this happen over and over again all across this country. How many were witness to the woman cop tazering the schizophrenic woman to death? How many watched the tazering of the kid in the library? How many have watched their neighbors singeled out and dragged off to detention without any reason (such as after 9/11).

It is becoming more and more aparent everyday that I don't want to live in this country any longer. It is becoming more and more aparent to me that this administration has hijacked this country worse than the few on those 4 airplanes. I'm tired of fighting for people who don't care. I'm tired of assholes who think its ok to live in a police state, where shoot and ask questions later is ok. I'm tired of living in a country where there are people who actually defend torture.

10. i listened to some more video.. they paralyzed him then demanded he get up, he couldnt ,they shocked
again and demanded he get up, i dont know how many times that went on but it was definitely torture and a psychological warning to the others,, just like KENT STATE

it takes a minimum of 5 minutes to walk up to 15 minutes

11. Yes, those in the audience should have rushed the cops
Not. Had they done so, a dangerous melee could well have erupted. As for the comparison of these kids at the forum to germans in Nazi Germany not doing anything as people were taken from their homes and sent to Concentration Camps, that's a spurious comparison. You need some perspective.

It's simple: Meyer shouldn't have resisted arrest an the cops shouldn't have tasered him. And those at the forum did the right thing by not rushing the cops.

7. The kid was taping himself to.
He knew he was going to create a scene and wanted it on film.

I'm guessing the way his lawyer convinced him to clam up it got him more than he bargained for.
