Very soon we will all be swimming out to meet the cruise ships in the harbor.
The dollar dropping to new lows makes America the new bargain basement shopping center for the rest of the world.

Tourists laugh as they watch the funny Americans spend their own dollars on doomed military ventures in faraway places.

4. Then you will have to make goat milk soap wrapped in handmade paper
that your children will trundle into the local marketplace on Wednesdays.

6. It won't be real fun until
you're diving in the water for quarters thrown by the tourists for their entertainment.

7. Even better - they could bring bottles of the prescription drugs that they get for almost nothing
and throw some into the crowd and watch us scrabble for them.

8. All thanks to Michael Milken
"CDOs were first widely used back in the late 1980s by Drexel Burnham Lambert junk-bond king Michael Milken to sell off damaged and previously unsellable debt in a way that was more palatable to customers."

http://articles.moneycentral.msn.com/Investing/SuperModels/AreWeHeadedForAnEpicBearMarket.aspx

Well, I guess it's not really his fault. No one made banks package ever riskier loans in CDOs and sell them. No one made speculators borrow money to buy CDOs and then turn around and borrow on those same CDOs. No one made Helicopter Ben cut rates to help out reckless banks and speculators. No one made foreigners move away from the dollar because of the low, low rates. No one made the US borrow extravagantly and spend it on a corporate war. But that's how it all seemed to work out.

In the end the average Joe ends up swimming out to cruise ships.
