Democrats in Congress - Did you think that RW'ers would go easier on you if you blasted MoveOn.org?
Just got this in my spy email account from GOPUSA:

"Democrats Now on the Record Selling Out to MoveOn.org

Now it's official. Thanks to Texas Sen. John Cornyn, an amendment was put forward condemning the left-wing political group MoveOn.org for its attack ad against Gen. David Petraeus. Although the measure passed strongly with a 72-25 vote, no leading Democrat, especially those running for president, voted yes. None could step forward and do the right thing, proving that MoveOn.org does call the shots for the Democrats."

2. They're all so ignorant. They played right into the repuke's hands and it's not even going to matter

When will they learn they will be trashed no matter what they do? They may as well stand up for Democratic principles and take the knocks for it...it's better than being a hypocrite and being knocked anyway. Dumb asses.

give 'em the ass kickin' they deserve.

I'm sick of the whiney appeasers who have ruined our party.

After seeing the town hall meeting with my rep (Mark Udall,) the excoriation that Democrats received over the MoveOn circus, and earlier floggings over the FISA vote, the blank-check war funding to Bush, etc.; I'd have to conclude that the Democrats are getting it far worse than they would be if they stuck to their guns and took the resulting public abuse from the Republicans and the press.

People are PISSED. Everywhere! Republican and Democrat.

If the Democrats stuck to their guns, refused to fall for the GOP traps, and stood up for ending the war and holding Bush accountable, they probably wouldn't get much more abuse from the GOP and the media than they're already getting.

Now they're getting the same GOP and media abuse, AND they're getting tarred-and-feathered by the rank-and-file in their own party, and the people in general.

I wonder if they're being blackmailed.
