Yes, Mr. Carville I am a decider. And until YOU decide to work and play well with others, esp. Howard Dean, I don't feel much like giving to that organization. I'll continue to give to Kerry, because I know HE knows how to play the 50-State game.

I did the exact same thing with all such solicitations only I added that:

Since MoveOn speaks for me
Since MoveOn speaks for free speeech
Since MoveOn speaks the truth
Since MoveOn is focused on ending the war
MoveOn gets my $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

7. it's better than a letter, or a telemarketing call
At least then you know the money you donate is not going to be spent mailing letters and making telemarketing calls.

It kinda irks me that I am on these lists. Two letters now from Al Franken. I love the guy, but Al, I make $12,000 a year. And everybody wants a piece of it.

10. It was the glory-grabbing and back biting that got me in 2006
That Carville was all pissed off that Dean spent money all over when Carville thought it should go to specific candidates only, and even though we won big, saying that we could have won bigger if Dean hadn't stood in the way. What seemed to get Carville's goat more was that he wasn't part of the success. No consultant money for the martian.

14. There's a great condemning article about Rahm and DCCC on truthout today.
http://www.truthout.org/docs_2006/090607J.shtml

It shows Rahms interference in House elections by purposefully turning support away from progressive Dems. Another outrage from our, supposedly, side.

Telling Senators and Congressmen that some races were single candidate when they weren't.

30. Here was my response to JC's email -
Sorry James -

I'm a MoveOn.Org member and, having just been censured by this very Senate, I don't have a warm fuzzy feeling for you all just now. I gave my monthly political money to MoveOn.

When the Democratic Senate can stand up for me and others like me rather than wasting time on "sense of the Senate" censures, I'll reconsider where my money goes.

I'm sure you understand.

35. think globally act locally
I donated to my local party last month, and still haven't received an email from Carville..but mainly because the people in my county party are like family to me.

watching a debate or listening to a speech hasn't connect me to the Democratic party in the same way that talking and meeting with friends who share the same problems has done.
