Marijuana seized in truck hauling cookies from Texas

CLEVELAND (AP) -- The only thing missing was the Mountain Dew.

Three men were arrested early Friday after more than 600 pounds of marijuana was found wrapped in plastic in a truck carrying Chips Ahoy! cookies from Texas to Ohio.

Police Lt. Thomas Stacho said the men, from southern Texas, were jailed pending formal drug trafficking charges.

The marijuana was in the sleeper part of the cab of the truck, separate from the cookie crates in the cargo hold.

I don't think whoever wrote that knows that Chips Ahoy and Mountain Dew is a bad trip, man.

About two weeks ago, police, deputies and state agents made a similar drug bust when hundreds of pounds of marijuana was found in a truck hauling frozen broccoli.

I'll take the truck with the cookies, although I prefer the cookies I make over store bought kind, even though Chip Ahoys work in a munchie crunch:rofl:
