"Fair Game: My Life as a Spy, My Betrayal by the White House" by Valerie Plame ( Oct. 22, 2007)
http://www.amazon.com/Fair-Game-Betrayal-White-House/dp/1416537619?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1188146054&sr=8-1

Looking forward to this one. Go Valerie!

Product Description

Valerie Plame Wilson's cover as a top CIA agent was blown when Bush Administration officials leaked her name to the media; the ensuing investigation resulted in Vice-President Cheney's chief of staff, Scooter Libby, being convicted of a felony. But it almost destroyed Valerie Wilson's life, too. Now, for the first time, she tells her story of a life as a spy, the career of a undercover agent and mother of twins and the sudden object of the White House's wrath. It is a remarkable woman's story, a political story, a tale of betrayal and courage.

3. I! CAN'T! WAIT!!!!!!
Anyone got an update on that dismissal of their case? It was a silly "jurisdiction" thingy. Have they appealed? I just want them to have the opportunity to conduct FULL DISCOVERY. That would be enough to carry some justice back to this country.

4. Pre-ordered mine already. I hope this book sells millions.
I'm outraged by the fact that the stupid people in Wash DC bungled this whole thing. Disgusting.

5. The CIA vetted this book so when it is attacked by the RWing
we will know that the Rethugs will be lying, as usual.

6. That's good news
But then again, so many books are pre-vetted and go nowhere.

This one, however, has the potent power of name recognition.

It's about time we separated the spin from the truth about the Plame outing.

14. you GO! I spent the afternoon at Powell's a few years ago....had a dick of service guy, and
went to someone else, who apologized deeply, asked me who it was, and, upon my description, said, "I KNEW it. Everybody hates that ahole," then gave me some free stuff.
