NO! Bush met with the Phillies today
I'm watching the Phillies game against the Nationals tonight and the announcers said that some players and manager Charlie Manual got a tour of the White House today and spent a half hour in the oval office with the Chimp. They did say that not all of the players attended. So I did a news search and found this article that the meeting was set up by Arlen Specter. Figures. See below.

The Phillies announcers did say that Bush knew Charlie Manual or met him years ago when he owned the Texas Rangers. They said that Manual told the announcers that Bush said he was worried about Manual earlier in the season when the Phillies weren't playing so well. There was talk that the Phillies management was going to fire Manual. Manual said he told Bush he wasn't too popular back then "like you are now" and that Bush laughed.

Hey, Chimpy, stay AWAY from my team! :evilfrown:

2. Oh that bastard...
...we fight for decades to get baseball back into DC and he meets with the other guys? He's supposed to be the First Fan of the Nationals!

Wait a minute! He owned the Rangers! They used to be the Senators! And he's from the state of the 'Skins nemesis, the Cowboys. The whole thing is one giant set up!

It seems all the MLB teams are getting tours of the WH to meet Chimp Boy when they come to town.

Looks like Chimpy is distracted as usual.
