I give you one outright prediction.
The main fighting will be in the north of Iraq- north of the capital. At least where death will be greatest.

BUT -

The attack that will precipitate a real problem for us is going to be at that port on the nipple of Iraq - it is the only real place they could really screw us. In one move enough oil could be pulled off the market to screw us in the ground.

It is funny - when you really come to understand the military you learn - they make judgements from history - with no understanding - that all history is in the end - is an exercise in critical thinking.

And if they were really any good at critical thinking - they sure could get better jobs than the army.

The neocons base a lot on what happened in Greece 2400 years ago - I am not going to get into it - but they know they do so.

Remember this you assholes, Sparta may have beaten Athens in the battle - but they sure lost the war in the end - didn't they? We are not Sparta. And you do not represnt us. Assholes.

2. There is one more thing about this - I think they chose to
"not remember" - We are the United States - we invented "tar and feather politics"

One thing about tar - it is pretty hot - and it hurts when you get dunked in it. Let me know just how much it hurts, won't you??

We are different - a different culture - a paradigm that has never before existed in the history of the world. You don't get it necons.

We are the culture that set off to war to set other people free - that has never happened before - in the history of the world.

I think you people have a very bad karma coming to you idiots. ANd I think this society will deliver it right to your doorstep.

"ANd I think this society will deliver it right to your doorstep."

I hope you are right about us delivering their bad karma right to their doorstep. And I hope the bad karma is what they've already earned, not what you fear will happen.

However -- what you suggest -- pinching the southern oil supply line at its most vulnerable point -- makes so much sense from a strategic point of view that I wonder it has not happened yet? or maybe we've done more to defend against that than you seem to think we have? or is it the Brits pulling out of Basra that makes you think something is imminent there?

I certainly don't know. But if I were part of the insurgency, then yes, it's definitely the oil I'd go after, and I'd look at the choke points first. You mentioned in another post that something like 80% of the oil shipped out of Iraq goes out by the southern route, making it a very inviting target.

4. God - there are some history students out there. Thank god.
You know I go to a military school - to get a graduate degree to teach military history.

Pretty right wing - really.

Even they get it.

Christ - some draw more directly then me to the fact.

It is a fact - as much as historiography get ever conclude fact.

They are not on your side neocons - not - they get it.

How dare you people parade yourselves as "patriotic americans"

You are traitors to everything we ever fought for.

And you will be treated as such in the end - have no doubt - let me know just how hot that tar is.
