sometimes I don't, but at the end of the day, we're all fighting for the same cause, we just take different paths to getting there and have different ideas on how things should be done. One of these days we need to all get together, sit around the big bonfire and come to some kind of meeting of the minds.

I hate to say it, but *that's* why the repugs win. They stick together, through thick & thin, right or wrong, it doesn't matter. Look at how they still act like they're the majority party in the House & Senate. their mentality is like "hey buddy, you lie, and I'll swear to it!"

We need to find common ground within our own party, then stick together and get some real work done.

53. If it's any consolation

When I was going through the surgery and then the chemo, there was never a moment when I was not aware of all the prayers, good thoughts, blessings, light and good vibes of so many people. It was never easy, but all that goodness coming toward me was - and still is - quite palpable and very sweet, a comfort that penetrates any pain or fog of medication. Like NG so beautifully reminds us in her latest posting, we are not alone.
