Bush may (GASP) ask for more money for Iraq!
Edited on Sat Sep-22-07 09:40 AM by genie_weenie
I am shocked, just shocked!

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The Bush administration may increase the amount of money it is seeking for the Iraq war for the 2008 fiscal year that begins October 1, the White House said on Friday.

The White House outlined a request for around $147 billion for fiscal 2008 for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. But the administration is reviewing those figures and is considering giving Congress an updated request.

This money is, of course, NOT listed amongst the 622 Billion already allocated for the DoD (or Department of Death) for 2008.

Another year in Iraq another Trillion dollars flowing into the coffers of the Masters of War.

As Jesus told Erik Prince, Blessed are the Warmakers...

3. But, of course, Congress will steadfastly refuse to give him the money.
Until somebody says "Support the Troops".

Then they will promise to stop funding the slaughter...someday, maybe, when they get the votes, and when they someday, maybe, set a deadline that's a year away and can be extended indefinitely.

Progress is being made.

5. At this point I do not care about his grades
He has proven his insanity to the world and is continuing to show to a despondent population that his interpretation of what god means to him has only been the worst thing that has happened for many of us to witness. What a shameful legacy this Bush and his entire family will be remembered for. A disgrace to themselves, to this nation for serving in their capacity and to the world for what they have brought upon it. They are all a bunch of idiots.

7. In fear, Madame Squeaker and Mr. Mouse will give * any money he wants
for his war of torture.

We are screwed and so are the troops who will serve HIM with very little rest in between tours unless of course they are killed and become a "fallen angel" returned in a box.

12. They want $147 billion
Yesterday they said they would probably up that by $50 billion. It will be a win/win for *. The Dems say no,thats too much; * "compromises" and will accept $147 billion. Now he is the compromiser. If the Dems fold as usual, they will give him the full $197 billion and * now becomes the strong war president able to crush all opposition. Win/win. Just saying.
