Why won't Congress condemn Ann Coulter for calling Edwards a "faggot"?
Any censures coming down the pike for O'Reilly inviting Al Qaeda to blow up Coit Tower in San Francisco?

How about a formal Congressional rebuke of Michelle Malkin for touting internment camps?

Any chance? :eyes:

... can't risk the condemning of discrimination least someone get offended because their hate is no longer acceptable

wouldn't be prudent...

now's not the time

wait until after the next election (and the one after that and the one after that and so on and so forth)

but I digress...I'm sure

3. THe Democrats need to hammer this one home
I didn't like the ad much, but I liked even less having the Senate waste time and my tax dollars taking a vote to condemn it. I really didn't like the Swiftboat ads or the Osama/Cleland ads. Those were far more offensive and there wasn't any talk of condemning them.

Congress needs to be working on ending the war, not wasting time. How many people in Iraq died during the time it took to debate and vote on that MoveOn ad? Probably quite a few.

5. Ann Coulter's comments were childish
Why dignify them with a response? Everybody knows she's an ideological whore (and unladylike), so why turn her into a martyr?

6. Welcome to DU, and believe me, I am not suggesting it.
What does baffle me, (or not, really, given this Congress), is that they would get so exercised about the moveon.org ad to waste everybody's time debating that bit of nonsense.

7. Of course not because
FauxNews is the major instigator of the attacks on MoveOn.org. If there were true balance in the MSM, those very RW wingdings would also come under as much fire as MoveOn has.
