Iraq: Blackwater guards fired unprovoked

Hassan Jabir, 37, is surrounded by family as he recovers from
gunshot wounds in a hospital in Baghdad, Iraq on Saturday, Sept.
22, 2007. Jabir, a lawyer, says he was in his car in the Mansour
neighborhood when guards in a U.S. State Department convoy
opened fire, shooting him four times. Iraq's Interior Ministry has
expanded its investigation into other incidents allegedly involving
Blackwater USA security guards amid the furor following a deadly
shooting that claimed at least 11 lives, a spokesman said
