1. I saw this press conference; seems his daughter knocked some sense
into him. But for many, that could be a long wait.

How many of these conservatives have criticized the occupation but have done nothing to stop it? I think it will take more than personal revelation for most, although something like a family member in harm's way can do wonders for such an attitude adjustment.

Many of David Petaeus's friends are conservatives. By attacking the credibility of their belief systems, you are indirectly assaulting the character of the good general. This simply cannot be tolerated.

I've written my Senator encouraging her to censure you, truthout.org, talkingpointsmemo.com, Democratic Underground, and Hewlett-Packard (for manufacturing the machine which allowed me to read your defammatory words).
