12. And Snopes had the "scoop" last February. |
|
http://www.snopes.com/food/ingredient/twinkies.aspAnd I'm sure this isn't even the first time someone's "blown the gaff" on Twinkies' supposedly "infinite shelf life". :eyes: What passes for News organizations anymore is a travesty.

7. See, they have their priority straight |
|
Why do they even bother with news, why not make it all infomercials? Forget the pretense -- just do commercials wall to wall with E News squeezed between.
The very definition of hell.

8. Breaking News: Dr Gupta Finds Corn In His Hair!!! |
|
I stumbled across this goodie the other night. His crack team...the same ones that didn't bother to properly fact check the Sicko hit job...found we have corn starch in our hair. WOW. Hey Doc, I've got a far easier way for you to find where the corn goes after you eat it. Sheesh!
Recently a group of us discussed the vast difference in TV coverage of Vietnam and this disaster. It's not just the way the military and this regime has manipulated and spun, but the lack of reporting from the battle zones. Back in the day, Vietnam stories took up the first 10 minutes or more of the nightly news and almost always included a report from the field...some reporter reporting from where the battles were taking place (even during Tet). That's not the case in this ugly war. It's gotten too dangerous and our corporate media won't "justify the expense". Other than Michael Ware and Lara Logan...who both freely admit they're limited in what they see and can cover...there is precious little direct visuals or reporting from this war and that, IMHO, helps to perpetuate the lies of "we're winning".
