Slate V Takes Romney Campaign Ad Challenge - Priceless!

This is a riot. They were supposed to make an ad from material on his website.

I love this shit.

Here's a typical conversation between the neoconservative knuckledragger and the average American*:

Patriot: Why is it that so few conservative politicians have sons and daughters serving in the military? Why did so few of them serve in the military themselves.

Knuckledragger: Whatever do you mean?

Patriot: These politicians are totally dedicated to this endless war and do everything in their power to avoid providing any indication of when -- or why -- it might end. Yet, they are not making any of the sacrifice themselves.

Knuckledragger: Are you pulling this librul "chickenhawk" nonsense?

Patriot: I'm asking a relevant question: Why are these conservative politicians not making the personal sacrifice they demand others make?

Knuckledragger: For you information, idiot, the military is nearly 100% conservatives. Conservatives are making the sacrifice.

Patriot: But not conservative politicians. And yet that doesn't bother you.

Knuckledragger: Oh, yeah? Well, what are you doing to serve and sacrifice?

Patriot: I served in the military during Vietnam, as did my brothers and my brothers-in-law. I have family in Iraq now.

Knuckledragger: You're a goddam liar.

*(This is a summary of an actual conversation I have had.)

demanding a vote in the Senate to condemn this ad. "The Democrats must condemn these left wing attacks on my family! If they can't condemn an ad, how can they condemn the terrorists?"

30. That's good, but...
I doesn't maintain the momentum all the way through. There should have been some more shots of soldiers in Iraq thrown in during the firefly scene or when the brother is talking about all the "largest" tourist traps he's seen.

34. 5 Trust Fund Babies and an Idiot...
I think Rowan Atkinson should play Mitt. I suspect that we could fill out the roles of the 5 brothers with 2 potatoes, a beige dress shirt that has way too much starch, a cinder block, and a can of silly string.

in a related story Fred made the same offer...

.... the associated 20 minute film of MRS FRED, directed by Roman Polanski, drew this comment from the
President of Japan.... "I don't know about America, but in Japan, Fred would get erected"
