Poll question: Will the US attack Iran before bush leaves office?
Edited on Sun Sep-23-07 04:57 PM by Skip Intro
I just stumbled upon a KO peice showing bush recently all but decalre war on Iran. That led to a video from the History channel showing Iran as pretty much existing to hate America, wich led to a clip from CNN and Wolf considering the "military option" in our "showdown" with Iran. Links below.

I didn't realize, watching less and less tv news, that the drumbeat for attacking Iran was quite so loud. Sounds to me like its a done deal. And sure as hell, if we attack Iran, Israel will hit Syria. Gut feeling, very strong. Then how long will Russia and China sit back and watch us?

Do you think the US, under bush, will attack Iran? What do you think will happen, if so?

1. Frankly, I think
there's a better chance of some kind of "attack" here, so that Bush can use those executive powers.

shudder

2. I noticed in the MSNBC coverage of Amadinijad's visit to NY they
were constantly switching the background video to showing marching Iranian troops, mobile missile launchers, etc., even though the dialogue had NOTHING to do with the Iranian military. Very blatant propaganda to reflecively connect Amadinijad to a military threat. They show a picture of him, then the missile launcher, then him, then the troops, all while talking about him being banned from the 9/11 site.

That's why KO is the only thing I watch on that channel.

5. Of course Bush will attack Iran, etc.
But not too soon. Timing is everything. Wait until closer to the election, so the right wingers can topple the vote in their favor. Of couse, this time it may backfire.
