So How Many Dem Candidates Were On ABC/NBC/CBS/CNN/FOX Today --Except for Hillary?
So where are the calls for more even coverage of Democratic Candidates?

And what is the explanation for this scheduling? Planned as part of a coordinated campaign or merely another MSM 'coincidence'??

1. At last someone other than Obama and Edwards got MSM time!
The MSM has been obsessed with those two long enough!

3. The press loves a good circus
and if the Clinton's win the White House again this is what we will have. Don't get me wrong. I will gladly vote for the circus over any of the current Republican buffoons running for president but the fact of the matter is that the MSM just can't wait for another Clinton presidency.

5. I've seen the other Dem candidates on previous weekends ...
I imagine this is the weekend she made herself available to them.

7. I think Hillary Clinton was on all of them...and there was "discussion" after that
by the "usual panels." Frankly, I was glad to see Hillary there instead of Biden or Dodd..who are the usual suspects for our Democrats.

8. I'm sure these shows are open to all of the candidates
Hillary - who, until today, had not appeared on any of them since she started her campaign - chose to appear on them this weekend, I believe, because her health care plan came out last week.

11. I am sure if these shows called any of the other Dem Candidates they would have said YES...
I don't begrudge HRC accepting an offer to appear on any of these Sunday talk shows, but this is unprecedented to be offered a monopoly.

If you were an independent/undecided or unaffiliated voter and you were looking for information on all the candidates to help you make up your mind, you were pretty much cornered no matter which channel you chose to watch today.

And there was coordination. Her campaign had to disclose to each MSM that she was appearing the same day on the other talk shows. ANd they agreed ... that is where the cooperation comes in.

15. I think most, if not all, of these shows have an open invitation to the candidates
I know MTP is doing a series wehre they interview all the candidates. I don't think any of them called Hillary and specifically asked for her to appear this weekend.

I just don't understand why it matters one iota that she did them all in one day - it had to do with the rollout of her healthcare plan. It would be much worse if she just appeared on all of them over and over. I doubt that there's any any independent/undecided voter out there who was going to choose today and today only to find out info about the candidates.

9. This was all about 'coordination' and 'cooperation' between HRC and the MSM...
How can the MSM justify giving one candidate a complete monopoly of every news outlet to the exclusion of all other Dem candidates, and expect the public not to notice they are playing a role in promoting the HRC campaign?

I am sure HRC made herself available to each of the MSM outlets. THe issue is why all the MSM outlets would concentrate on one Dem candidate to the exclusion of all others if they were going to claim any kind of impartiality.

What's next? Will each of the MSM outlets start running a banner at the bottom of their screens promoting a HRC v. Giuliani showdown?

10. I'm sure that if Obama, for example, wanted to appear on all the shows on one weekend
he could do it, too.

18. A Once In A Lifetime MSM Event Occurs, and Posters Here Are Not Surprised? Are We Trained To Accept
a coordinated MSM blitz in cooperation with one specific Candidate's campaign as 'normal'?

IF SO, how will Dems feel if the MSM repeats this treatment with the Repub nominee(totally ignoring the Democratic Nominee) just days before the General Election?

If there is no criticism and pushback by the other Democratic Candidates, the MSM in that case would certainly have an argument to make that the past weekend treatment was a 'precedent' for an 'all Repub monopoly' of the Sunday Talk Shows just before the General Election.
