If it's too costly to have all Americans under the plan Congress has, |
|
should Congress have the same plan too?

1. Too costly for us, then it's too costly for them too. Cut their plan down |
|
to one size that fits all Americans. We don't have no royalty here so live with it!

2. If drug companies and Health Services |
|
were not so costly, we COULD all have it. I have complete coverage, Medicare and my BC/BS. When I retired the requirement was I had to take Medicare. I get the same coverage I did before I retired but, I have to pay for Medicare 98 dollars a month and BC/BS 90 dollars. I know that is cheap compared to some plans but as you can see my medical cover doubled when I retired. My coverage is no different it just costs more.

4. why should Congress have a lifetime plan at all? |
|
I don't know of any people who leave jobs that keep their insurance beyond a few months. Why the hell should the taxpayers be paying for health care for ANYONE who has left office - even the president.
And WHY they should have such a good plan when everyone else in the country is having their plans adjusted or tossed because of costs -- last time I looked we tossed out royalty during the Revolution.
This is yet another reason why we need big changes in THEIR priviledges. Edwards has it right -- they need to have their *goodies* yanked to understand fully what the working class in this country is going through.
I'd love to see a nationwide referendum vote on pulling the healthcare and retirement priviledges of all our *representatives* in Washington. I'll bet there would be a rush to vote in that case.
