Due to the fact not enough of us are in any one state as to change the outcome in the primaries
I think we as a group should quit taking on each other for supporting one or the other Democratic Presidential contenders. I, madokie, is going to vote for the Democratic nominee no matter who it is, even if it was my pet or yours I will vote for them.
I'm just saying thats all

3. I think you are right
I have nothing against fighting diligently for your person - It's primary seasons -if you're convinced that Clinton or Obama or Kucinich or Biden is the one - you should fight for him or her. But you shouldn't condemn others for picking another guy.

13. Actually I didn't write Edwards because he's the guy I support
Was going to end with a bit about that but decided not - and forgot to go back and put him in.

5. I vote for the Dem Nominee, period. And so should you all
I live in Mississippi, our primary is late and irrelevant so I haven't jumped in too deep in the primary battles here.

6. I agree with you - in fact I'm having trouble figuring out which candidate
will get my support in the caucuses. Knowing that, how could I NOT vote for the nominee?

10. Same here
I came here to DU with one person in mind who I thought would be the bestest of the best but guess what, I don't think that now as I have seen the light. I will and would still vote for that person in the general election but in our primary it will be one of the others, who that is I know not for sure today

8. Ultimately, the Democratic nominee is "my candidate." End of discussion.

22. I always like to have more discussion. Period.
I get very tired of all the 'Kucinich is the only one I can support' statements, but nobody is gonna put a gun to my head and say I've gotta support Hillary either. For whatever reason, and maybe it is partly irrational, I am ABC in this primary even to the point where I am not sure I can vote for her in the general election. Even beyond that, I supported Kerry with money, with a yard sign, and with LTTEs - even though he was about my fifth choice behind Clark, Dean, Gephardt, and Edwards. At this point, I cannot, I will not do that for Clinton and nobody can make me. Not my dad, not my mom, not my little brother or any of my sisters, nieces, or nephews, and not you, my good e-friend or any other DUer from autorank to zombywoof. I need to be persuaded. I need something to get me past the anger and sadness about the power brokers and media and money machine and all the stupid sheep that forced this odious choice upon me.

9. I totally agree Madokie,
I have a favorite candidate that i hope gets the nod, but like the candidates say themselves, any of the Democratic candidates will be far better the anything the repugs have to offer.

So come election day i'll vote with pride for the democratic candidate for POTUS, that sounds good just saying it!

12. sure it does
I see so much good in all the Democratic candidates, while I also see some things that worry me, but not to the point of getting really worried.
:hi:
and its not that I see good because I am looking so hard for it either, its just the fact theres some good assed people in our fold and they all make me proud

21. madokie
This is a nice thread. I hope it remains mostly that way. We need this - unity. Something we can agree upon. So many bright people here with as many opinions. This reminds us we are here for the same reason.

Thanks
