Did anyone see the rude interview by Scott Pelley on CBS 60 Minutes?
This whore is helping the regime build it's propaganda for the attack on Iran.

Sir, what were you thinking?" Pelley asked. "The World Trade Center site is the most sensitive place in the American heart, and you must have known that visiting there would be insulting to many, many Americans."

"Why should it be insulting," Ahmadinajad said.

"Well, sir, you're the head of the government of an Islamist state that the United States government says is a major exporter of terrorism around the world," Pelley replied.

"We obviously are very much against any terrorist action and any killing. And also we are very much against any plots to sow the seeds of discord among nations," Ahmadinejad said. "Usually you go to these sites to pay your respects. And also to perhaps to air your views about the root causes of such incidents."

"It is an established fact now that Iranian bombs and Iranian know-how are killing Americans in Iraq. You have American blood on your hands. Why?" Pelley asked.

"Well, this is what the American officials are saying. Again, American officials wherever around the world that they encounter a problem which they fail to resolve, instead of accepting that, they prefer to accuse others," the president replied. "I'm very sorry that because of the wrong decisions taken by American officials, Iraqi people are being killed and also American soldiers. It's very regrettable."

"The American Army has captured Iranian missiles in Iraq. The critical elements of the explosively formed penetrator bombs that are killing so many people are coming from Iran. There's no doubt about that anymore. The denials are no longer credible, sir," Pelley pointed out.

"Very good. If I may. Are you an American politician? Am I to look at you as an American politician or a reporter? This is what the American officials are claiming," Ahmadinejad replied. "If they accuse us 1,000 times, the truth will not change."

1. So many reasons not to watch CBS news shows now.

2. It was quite belligerant and condescending. Priming us for war, indeed.
That's why I'm surprised by the hysteria and hyerbole being expressed on DU today - against Ahmadinejad.

3. Scott Pelly lost me years and years ago with his manufactured outrage about
Monica and Clintons horrible, unforgiveable (at least according to Pelly) lies regarding Monica and himself.

I remember wondering if Pelly were so lily white himself...

4. Scott Pelley used to be a local anchor here
in Dallas. He was a tool then and he's a tool now.

5. Most of Pelly's questions could be rephrased to point the finger at the guys wearing the white hats,
those in Iraq for the noble purpose of bringing liberty and freedom to an oppressed people, unfortunately, of course, at a cost of a few million casualties as unintended collateral damage. Pelly's opening comments were perhaps the most offensive I ever heard, pissing me off more that I've ever been at a reporter.

7. Not surprised here, that is exactly the same style of interviewing the Dem's
have gotten for years now, that alone should make all America sit up and question the reasoning behind the media blitz towards this guy considering all the other important issues this country is facing gets virtually ignored.

8. I have not watched a single show on ABC since they ran that montrous
anti-Clinton show just before the election. I now will no longer watch anything on CBS. Look what Dan Rather, whom I respect, has to say about his treatment and the reasons for it. I will be watching PBS and Keith...the only tv worth watching anyway. I am behind in my reading too. I would love to let the advertisers know what and why, but I am not going to watch them to find out who the advertisers are.
