I noticed something about "The Worst Person in the World" today. |
|
Edited on Mon Sep-24-07 08:01 PM by TheUniverse
Worse - Senator Vitter - Worse for trying to funnel tax payer money into a creationist lobbying organization. Worser- Billo - Worser for being Billo. Worst - Comedian Rush Limbaugh - Worst for being a hypocrite for insulting moveon, when he said "Betrayus" long before they did.
All three of them were republicans with personal scandals. Vitter had a call Girl. Billo went to a sex show in Thailand with "girls" and did something nasty with a loofah. And Rush Limbaugh has a drug problem. These are the people who want to force their "family values" on us? They can go fuck themselves.

1. None of us is perfect. |
|
But when you claim the exclusive right and privilege of making all of the rules and then break them whenever you want to, when you manipulate and connive in order to acquire the power to enforce your rules and punish those who resist, when you make a big showy display of "the sacred" and then presume to speak on its behalf, when the purpose of your blasphemy is the death and suffering of innocents, when you tell others to be strong and self-reliant while you're addicted to greed and special economic consideration, when you praise freedom and punish non-conformity . . . I could go on, but you probably get the idea.
None of us is perfect, but hypocrisy is such a profound insult to the kinds of relationships that we must have in order to survive as a species that it cannot be tolerated.

4. What was it Nelson Mandela said about Bush? |
|
In that gentle, but supremely astute, way of his, something like "he can't think right." That's the scarey thing; these people are making laws and there's something wrong with their minds.
Thom Hartmann had that Mandela quote in his show Friday; I thought it was a perfect description of what is the matter with Bush Inc.
