So we in the US pick up a newspaper and read about Iranians yelling, "Death to America! ... Death to Israel!..." and they in Iran pick up a newspaper and read about Americans yelling, "Death to Ahmedinejad, the Hitler of Iran!..."

No need for the feds to get involved with this one--it's a natural for grassroots. I mean, really--let's say you're Jewish. You're religious; observant; sincere in your faith. Some assclown spokesmodel from a country that used to do a shitload of business with Israel (under the table, quietly, of course) suddenly gets up and says that the biggest calamity in the history of your people didn't happen. And that the land that is the historical center of your faith should be turned over to another group, and your people driven into the sea.

I don't think you need Feds to encourage that sort of gathering in protest.

Where the government might have been involved is in encouraging local authorities to place their "free speech zone" close enough for the visiting MidgetMayor to see them. Now THAT, I could buy.
