"One of the few remaining neoconservatives"
Does anybody believe that there are "few remaining" neo-conservatives left? Isn't the next president going to have pressure from neo-conservatives and wouldn't this pressure be harder for Hillary Clinton to resist than any of the other candidates?

Article:
Giuliani adviser Podhoretz predicted Bush 'will hit' Iran before term is up
{b}One of the few remaining neoconservatives in America was recently granted a private audience in the White House to deliver a 45-minute sales pitch to convince President Bush, accompanied by political deputy Karl Rove, to bomb Iran.

Norman Podhoretz, who is among a dwindling class of aggressive defenders of President Bush's Iraq invasion, argued the United States needed to bomb Iranian nuclear facilities, the author tells The Politico Monday. The longtime editor of Commentary magazine, Podhoretz is now serving as a foreign policy adviser to Rudy Giuliani's presidential campaign.

1. It doesn't really matter "how many" there are..
It matters where they are and what they're doing. The Kyle-Lieberman amendment to FY 2008 Defense Authorization is a case in point. It is a blank check for an attack on Iran, and it may pass today (9/25)

3. It's a scary amendment alright and
a litmus test for dems- at least for me. Although it gives bush cover, it's also important to note that he has a pretty blank check issued right from the Constitution.

2. Don't forget our Democratic enablers.
We may have to count them among the neocons, if they keep failing to end those policies.
