The Truth? Bush has never been President, just a figurehead....
Cheney and Rove and their key supporters have made all the important decisions of this Administration since day one. Bush has been the public face. That's it. No way to spin it any other way.

Bush has 'friends' he has taken care of, but in most cases those 'friends' have acted more effectively to gain power and access to the treasury through Cheney and Rove.

All you have to do is listen to the question and answer sessions to realize that the mental intellect of Bush does not match the speeches written for him, and the glowing remarks about him from his supporters.

1. I agree
He is too stupid to organize anything. Cheney is the really evil one of the two, but I say IMPEACH them ALL.

2. And those "friends" seem to be deserting..........
Including Newt Gingrich.

I would very much like to be a fly on the wall in the corridors of power these days.

4. It is very important to distinguish between Rove supporters and Cheney supporters...
They each have had different agendas for this Administration, and the resignation of Rove is worthy of note since it leaves a power vacuum inside the White House for Cheney to exploit.

We are in the last stage of the 'NeoCon To Do List' and Cheney is pushing hard even though it is likely to spike the Repub Party's chances at the polls in 2008.

6. But
He believes he has made these decisions. It's true his trusted inner circle has had huge influence on him, it's also important to understand he has the final say on everything. He really is in charge and this is really the presidency he wanted. He's dumb enough to believe in his own myth.

8. The proper title for him is "tyrant"
One who pretends to legitimacy after seizing power by force or fraud.

9. That's all he ever intended to be..
I think being president was harder than he ever imagined.

He thought it was going to be like it was when he was CEO of his vanity companies that poppy set up for him, or as Governor of Texas, where he basically didn't do anything but execute people.

He's a fake cowboy and a fake president. His whole existence is one big fake.

10. Remember when Bush said he would surround himself with the smartest people?
He began making excuses for his lack of intelligence that was so apparent by saying he would run the WH like a CEO runs a corporation, he would get the smartest people to study and advise him on the issues.

Well, that CEO was Cheney acting behind the scenes regarding foreign policy, and Rove regarding domestic/political issues.

I just do not see Bush ever being engaged in intensive discussion of any issue that he did not believe he already had a divine revelation about.

11. Charlie McCarthy had more original thoughts than prez shit-for-brains..and
Edgar Bergan was a much more likable puppeteer than Rove/Cheney and the NeoCon/Dominionist/Fundie crowd have been.
