Why does Liz Cheney think that Republicans deserve a president who will be a
president for all Americans?

She was just now on MSNBC commenting about Hillary's "Darth Vadar" comment. She said that Hillary sounds like a spokesperson for moveon.org and that Americans want a president who will be a president for all Americans.

Well, how many people out there on DU feel like George Bush came in to be a president for all Americans? If he intended to represent us all, why did he hand select his audiences? Why did he corral "dissenters?" Why did he try to use the Federal prosecutor to take away the rights of all non-Republicans?

So, why do bigwigs like Liz Cheney think she has the right to expect a Democratic president to give a shit what she or any Republican thinks?

1. Oh, did they drag her out of mothballs again?
Every four years, out she comes, with the vilest campaigning imaginable.

appealing to progressives.

13. At this point we'd have to elect someone with MPD to have a
President for All Americans. Two personalities--one conservative, one liberal.

17. Well, if Hillary has two faces, I guess she'd fit the bill.
If you like that kind of duplicity.

22. I'm currently getting bashed because I called her "conservative."
So, yeah, I know what you mean.

Someone pointed out the other day that she comes across as a liberal on social issues, but conservative on foreign policy and trade issues.

Made sense to me.

23. But some of those trade decisions undermine social issues.
Poverty for example. She may put a band aid on another country's poverty problems with outsourcing, for example, but what does she really do for Americans? The reality is, not much.

Republicans are such dipshits. Sometimes I think they project their own flaws onto other people.
