While many of us convulse over the crap that flows on right wing hate radio...and rightly so...black radio has also matured and energized into force for action and change. It was the outrage on black radio morning shows like Tom Joyner, Joe Madison, Roland Martin and others that started the ball rolling over Imus, made the Jena 6 case a national story and now are going after BillO.

Being Jewish, I call the O'Reilly remarks a "some of my best friends" line...one I would get from my "gentile" friends who'd say things like "I didn't know Jews could work on Saturdays" or "You sure don't have horns"...comments they don't think offend or are intended to show they're not biased, but they show their true colors in the way they say it. Yep, BillO can't understand what's the big fuss cause he's to stuck in his preconcieved stereotypes to see the irony and insult.
