Then a voice of reason .... his 'debate' opponent, some guy named (I think) Eisenstadt, and Tweety, on who's air this appeared, ask this dumbfuck iof getting universal health care would solve GM's problems.
Wullll ...... yeah, Sez Jimmy.
Forget Caterpillar busting the union way back when, Jimmy, you dumb fuck.
Its about the HEALTH CARE, stupid.
You are this week's Missed Point Award winner.

1. Gee, Stinky, I'm glad I missed it |
|
It sounds like my foot would have gone through the screen and, while I'm able to afford the replacement, it's too late to call the waste disposal people to pick up the destroyed set.
I understand Cramer thinks unions are the problem and that GM workers should be so grateful to have jobs they should forget all about health insurance and pensions and just drop dead quietly so a cheaper worker can take their place.
Asshole.

American auto workers working for American companies are the best compensated in the business by far. It makes GM, Ford, whatever less competitive. Of course alot of things make them less competitive, but the fact that their costs are highest doesn't help.
My second point is that American executives are the highest paid of all executives. If the workers have to give up some things, the execs have to give up their ridiculous salaries. This needs to happen for the good of the nation. This is also worth noting in any discussion about moving from the employer-based health insurance system.

6. I won't invalidate your points ...... but ...... |
|
.... that's not the biggest issue.
Crappy products is an issue that makes GM less profitable. That applies to both quality and to style. And for THAT, the executives are paid way too much.
Employees may be highly paid but that's what they work for. They've been giving back for years. Like the company gives a shit. The company will ask for more until there's no one left to ask more from.
