I think that DUers are overoptimistic about their chances of winning in 2008 |
|
Most posters on DU appear to draw an awful lot of comfort than, in nearly every potential matchup between a possible Democratic candidate and a possible Republican candiate, the Democrat is ahead in polling.
Unfortunately, the one matchup where that *isn't* the case is Clinton vs Giuliani.
And that looks the single most likely possible outcome.
I don't think a Clinton victory is inevitable, but I do think you'd be a fool to bet against it at this stage. So I'm just hoping that Giuliani loses the primary, but that doesn't look likely either.
But, at this state, I think that he's the person most likely to be the next president of the US. And that worries me a lot.

He just can not stand up to a closer look. His skeletons arent even in the closet...they hang around his neck.

3. That is the exact outcome my nephew an aspiring lawyer who resides in DC predicted two months ago to |
|
me, I told him Giuliani, no way, he said don't discount him, out of all of them he is the most electable which I find pretty sad if that is what he who once discribed himself to be as a Republican finds worthy of any election...he no longer calls himself such thankfully, I great kid though so not all repubs are pathetic.

6. Correct, correct. not only do Democrats have to be more active |
|
in campaigning and fund raising than republicans, they have to try to figure out which dirty schemes that rove, is still going to cook up and try to overcome the stealing of another election.
