He's a chickenshit's dream candidate. There isn't a boogieman Rudy won't invoke...no strawman he can't build to pander to the shitting-in-their-pants crowd. Be it 9/11, "Islamofascism" (I still don't know WTF that means), HILLARY, his ex wives and so on. Rudy's strength is he'll scare you...then he'll "save the day". It's that simple world where all questions are answered with bluster rather than substance...where confrontation is easier than reasoning.

I can't say how many people I've encountered recently who are supporting Rudy...and it's all for the same reason. He'll beat Hillary. It's amazing how their logic is similar to those around here who harp that Hillary is un-electable...virtually the same talking points and what Rudy is banking on for any chance to win. Repugnicans who see their gravy train gone and their power seeping away also will glam onto Rudy...looking at him as being the "great white hope". Either way, Rudy knows how to play this game.

It's just the frenzy going on with the dead-enders out there. The Repugnican party is imploding and Rudy represents splinters that only care about power. Their primary is going to be brutal...the best is yet to come as Mittens, Rudy and the others pull out the knives, the stops and the dirty tricks on one another. No matter who wins, there'll be a fall-out...and I suspect we'll see either a third party emerge or a lot of people deciding not to get on the church busses next November.

We're still a year out of the general, and I can't see how boooshie's "legacy" doesn't become a major albatross around anyone with an (R) attached to them.
