Might be time to start thinking about cleaning the junk out and re-stocking it.

Russia and China aren't gonna just sit by while we nuke Iran.

This Kyl-Loserman bill is gonna come back to haunt us.

be up in the top ten to bomb out of existence.

Thanks all you miserable cretins who voted 'aye'.

2. Ah, right.
Because a symbolic resolution is a declaration of war, and a declaration of war means we're going to use nuclear weapons, and Russo-Chinese interest in there not being an Iranian-American war means they're going to start a global nuclear war.

Logic!

7. There is a continuum that's pretty easy to see
and plenty of reports that nukes are in the Iran attack plans

Put this together with Lieberman's amendment of a couple of months ago.

Just a sense of the Senate? Right.

Move right along. Nothing to see here.

13. And there's also this:
Edited on Wed Sep-26-07 12:57 PM by Wiley50
"SA 2948. Mr. KYL (for himself, Mr. LIEBERMAN, Mr. COLEMAN, and Mr. GRAHAM) submitted an amendment intended to be proposed to amendment SA 2011 proposed by Mr. NELSON of Nebraska (for Mr. LEVIN) to the bill H.R. 1585, to authorize appropriations for fiscal year 2008 for military activities of the Department of Defense, for military construction, and for defense activities of the Department of Energy, to prescribe military personnel strengths for such fiscal year, and for other purposes; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows:"

"Defense activities of the dept of energy" ?

What kind of defense activities do they do?

Oh Yeah!

NUKES!

8. We never needed a shelter. We knew we were Ground zero
at the beginning of the era, a few miles fromt he Panama canal (Albrook AFB) (a sure target)

and later a few miles away from a SAC base (Schilling AFB) that controlled many minutemen missiles buried all over kansas.

We knew we would get hit immediately :) No need for a shelter :)

20. Don't forget the potassium iodide tablets
Edited on Wed Sep-26-07 03:17 PM by vireo

<edit> Forget it, kiss your ass goodbye:

Potassium iodide’s effectiveness also depends on the nature of the radioactive exposure. The drug is specifically geared to thyroid protection by blocking the uptake of radioiodine, a common beta particle produced during certain nuclear reactions. However, potassium iodide offers no protective benefits against other forms of radiation, including the extremely dangerous neutrons that are released during a nuclear explosion. It is also ineffective against so-called “dirty bombs,” which are constructed from radioactive material that does not contain radioiodine.
