Born Elizabeth Harper, she grew up in Upminster, England. The visual discrepancy between Dennis and Elizabeth is comparatively small. He physically looks maybe 10, or at most 15 years older than she does. That's the flip side of being mistaken for a newspaper boy when you are 30.

Fred next to Jerri, even though the actual age gap is not as great, looks like a sick old man.
