Barack Obama goes to a party hosted by Oprah...he should be going to parties hosted by the forgotten Americans of this country. You know the ones. Those without a lot of money in their hands but have millions of dollars worth a hope inside their hearts.

7. He's not lazy. But he only has a certain amount of time
and fundraising is a major part of what he has to do with his time.

4. Sorry, but as an Illinoisian, I just don't see Obama at all. He's done nothing,
his rhetoric is sheer Pablum - to me he's a zero.

snubbed?

9. The Forgotten Don't Have TV Shows
Do you have any idea how many events all these candidates attend? Yep, some are ritzy like the Oprah party for Obama or the "meet and greets" all the other candidates do...it's how they raise the coin to keep their campaigns rolling. TV time and a fulltime staff operating in several states requires quite an investment and it always seems the big money events always outshine the hundreds of small appearances all these candidates make where they are with the "forgotten"...but there aren't TV cameras there (unless someone slips up).

If you're going to condemn one, condemn them all. Or condemn Obama for missing today's Senate votes (this Illinoian is not happy he skipped out). I hired him to represent me in Washington...his campaign is on his own time, not my dime.

Also, condemn both political parties that have now make campaigns a 24/7 game...and a very expensive one. We should reduce the time window on these campaigns...like the British do...90 or 120 days from primary to general election. All these dog and pony shows one year out from the election will have little bearing on what people think or the mood of the country a year from now.

10. Maybe he should throw parties for the forgotten instead.
It would probably be hard for the forgotten to throw parties if they don't have any money. Having to host Obama would be an undue burden on them.
