3. The best way to say no! And here we have Fundie Christians
who are part of the Ministry Response teams in tandem with the Dept Of Father(OOPS) I mean Homeland Security to keep the people obedient, by quoting Romans 13.

6. We've DONE THAT.
I attended an event in 2003 that did that, before we set foot in Iraq.

I've attended 2 more since, which had what seemed to my eyes to be similar vistas of marchers stretching into the distance.

In our nations capital, Washington DC.

None got the coverage these marchers in a distant nation are getting. We had marches, by my count, in the hundreds of thousands, mentioned in LOCAL news as 'thousands' and not covered nationally AT ALL.

Your TV is controlled.

8. Do You Know The History I'm Talking About ???

It should NEVER, EVER, come to that, but I hoisted a sign or two, and walked for several miles. Many times.

It wasn't enough... I got to go back to my heated home, and post with you guys.

And although I am not ready to lose everything over it, the longer it goes on, the closer that reality becomes. For EVERYONE!

9. Exactly.
Even when we march, we don't get the coverage. And then we give up and go home, because why try if it doesn't matter? Instead of recruiting more people until it CANNOT BE IGNORED, we give up and go home like sheep. What if 18 million people came to DC to protest, instead of 300,000. What kind of noise would that make?

The longer it goes on, the closer that reality is. :scared: and x(

18. As an Aside, I would like to see Pat Robertson doing that
but I guess we'll just have to wait until he gets to hell

7. Since when have "Americans" behaved like "Humans"?
Was it after the genocide of the Native nations? Was it after slavery was outlawed? Was it after the Phillippines? Was it after Hiroshima and Nagasaki? Was it after Vietnam? Was it after Mossedegh? After Lumumba? After Allende? Was it after El Salvador, Nicaragua? Was it after Panama, Grenada, Haiti?

I'm just trying to think of when this country has EVER not been a murderous, racist, colonialist, militarist and imperialist force in the world. Maybe for a few years between the Constitutional Convention and the Monroe Doctrine...

k & r, however, great pictures!

15. Dare I say it?
That MOST Americans have behaved like humans MOST or ALL of the time?

Just because a small percentage of Americans have had genocidal tendencies, don't go around categorizing everyone else with them.

13. That wouldn't get media coverage either,
there is no coverage of the Iraqis doing just that.

The Iraqis sending bullets got coverage for a while, but that was deemed as dangerous to the minds of Americans who might snap and turn off dancing with the stars, or even worse, stop shopping.
