replay of the Democratic, uh, discussion
Biden, at the end:

I worry more about the Pharisees

My take from watching:

Biden says what people want to hear, but may have some decent ability.

Dodd: strong beliefs, and not a bad choice.

Obama: clearly speaking to all to end divisiveness, but not saying much.

Richardson: clearly a good candidate for VP.

Kucinich: King of the World.

Edwards: Speaks to me, but the trust factor needs to be built.

Clinton: Sorry, but every response she gave was political doublespeake that said essentially nothing.

Gravel: Straight talker, as usual, and I love what he stands for.

Your take?

2. Biden won
His is

more eloquent
has the most ability to get things done (his iraq political policy solution passed today)
most honest
DOES NOT pander (i strongly disagree with your post above that he tells people what they want to hear) he tells the truth.
most experienced (35 years in senate)
most respected

he should be the next president and we will make a profound mistake if we don't nominate him.

3. thanks for the response
I wrote that he tells people what they want to hear based upon hearing him on the Sunday morning talking head shows for the past number of years, and strongly believing that he was calculating his answers based upon what he thought people wanted to hear/could digest at the time. I could be wrong.
