Why so many knickers in a knot over Ahmedinejad? |
|
He may have said one or two true thing. Don't make him an authority.
He may hate Bush. Don't make him your ally.
People, wake up, it's not back or white, who's right or wrong, it's about fighting suppression. Opposing one thing does not automatically mean you support its opposite.....
Or is that too mundane and sensible a thing to point out?

1. One wonders about that. It seems pretty mild to me. But maybe it |
|
is that we must have some type of 'evil' to make our spending of every thing on military worth the cost? (Where is the USSR when we need them?) When you have million dollar CEO's who can not figure out how to run the auto business when we were the tops in the world and it looks like a place like Blackwater has made off with near a BILLION dollars in tax payers money, having people up-tight about a little man in Iran looks pretty interesting. Check what was said yesterday on TV about Blackwater on the money. They are getting their money from different places and the figure was near a Billion. Makes what we give the DOD look a little odd. I was sure Bush was a crook(his own history in business was very iffy) when he came in but I am even shocked at the amount that this group has made off with and no one can seem to get their minds around where it has gone. To worry about the little man from Iran seems almost a God sent to being sane.

2. You could substitute the name *ush for Ahmedinejad |
|
in many cases. How do so many here forget that our own *resident has taken our rights away, lied us into war, permits killing and thievery in our name, has pretty much dismantled the Armed Services of the United States. How do they forget? Who could be more dangerous than this? Peace, Kim

4. it's not about Ahmedinejad |
|
it's about war with Iran, which the neocons have wanted before Ahmedinejad got elected.
In fact there's a lot of evidence that neocon policies helped Ahmedinejad get elected.
They don't care about Ahmedinejad. They would be perfectly willing to be allies with someone with identical policies as his, if it agreed with their agenda.
Their demonization of him is totally fake. I refuse to go along with it.

Notice how people were so obsessed with Iran's version of boooshie that little attention was paid to the ongoing carnage in Iraq. Or how the corporate media was so busy making him into a boogie man (replacing MoveOn) so that "little boots" wouldn't be lambasted by the international community for his violations of international laws and human right. It's creating a "monster" that we need to drop bombs on and demonize an entire nation to settle scores from 1979. That's just for starters.
Ahmendinejad is a political hack...no different that our own...playing to the cameras cause he knows the more outrageous he acts, the more attention he gets. No doubt he's anti-semetic, a homophobe and probably sexist and racist as well...that's his shtick that got him "up the ranks" in Iran in the first place and he knows that it plays well in the Middle East. While our corporate media roasts him, he's a hero with many in the Middle East who have spent the last 5 years being embarassed and angered by the actions of the boooosh regime. It's boooosh that helped get him elected (and yes, the man was elected) and he's found a way to channel the hatred of booooosh and the U.S. for his own fame and gain. Instead of trying to work with Khatami, this regime all but re-inforced the "great Satan" image of the U.S.
As the old saying goes...even a broken clock is right twice a day. There have been things booooshie has said that are true (rare as that may appear)...and yes, that means little without looking at the entire package.
