Should politicians pay attention to polls?
Or should they be like Bush* and ignore the will of the people? Set themselves up as know it alls and pretend the American people just don't know the facts and are just plain ignorant.. Everyone is so very down on Hillary because they say she pays such close attention to polls..Which is better?

2. My impression is that most us "leadership" from a politician when
we believe in an issue that does not poll well. Conversely, when we support an issue that polls well, we want politicians to bend to "the will of the people."
