Bin Laden conveniently evades capture again

The US military has recently admitted to allowing Bin Laden
to evade capture once again! It only took them about a month
to make the embarrassment public, as per usual. 
Someone mentioned on a recent post of mine which made
reference
to the Bush administration's inability or lack of effort to
capture Bin Laden, that Bin Laden may already be dead.
It is a possibility, but it seems much to convenient to me
to believe that Bin Laden is not with the living. That would
be the ultimate excuse to stop the pursuit of him altogether.
