Who is Fair, Who is Biased?
Each day on the home page of DU, a poll is taken with the selections being one of four different Television news or talk personalities.
The question is a fair one in that most of us have watch all four on the tube at one times or another and have developed opinions about each.
But I wonder if the question ought to be........
Who is realistic? Who is Independent?

Each one of the four is an employee of a major corporation and may indeed be under someone's thumb.
Having been in the media for several decades, I gave up being concerned about fairness or bias when the Reagan administration was at its peak and he destroyed the concept of a fairness doctrine.

Now I ask.....does the reporter have a clue about what he is seeing or hearing? And when he starts talking, the the words his?
