Robert Redford is set to make a movie criticizing US President George W. Bush.

The Hollywood legend is in talks to direct 'Against All Enemies', an expose' of the Bush administration's handling of the al-Qaeda terrorist threat in light of the September 11 attacks on the US.

The movie is an adaptation of the best-selling memoirs by Richard A. Clarke, a former terror expert for the US government.

'Against All Enemies' was published in 2004 and led to intense criticism of Bush and his political allies, particularly over the decision to invade Iraq in 2003.

Redford off to war with "Enemies" By Borys Kit
Thu Sep 27, 6:44 AM ET

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Robert Redford is attached to direct "Against All Enemies," an adaptation of Richard A. Clarke's best-selling memoir about the Bush administration's handling of the al-Qaeda threat before and after the September 11 terrorist attacks.

Clarke, a former U.S. terrorism czar, offered the ultimate insider's account into the nation's security apparatus, featuring a cast of power brokers including President Bush, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, former Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld and Clarke.

The book was published in March 2004 by Free Press and hit No. 1 on the New York Times best-seller list, fueling intense criticism over the administration's security failures and its decision to go to war with Iraq.

Capitol Films is financing the feature, picking up the project from Columbia, which had shelved it.

5. I can't wait to see this one! Redford is directing it...I hope he's IN IT!
:loveya::loveya::loveya::loveya:

This past Saturday I watched "The Way We Were" with Redford and Streisand. I haven't seen that movie in years. That man was to damn good looking for words and all these years later, he's just as handsome and not to mention a Progressive!:loveya::loveya:

15. He is - I've seen a trailer and it looks REALLY good.
One that I'd go see the first weekend it's out, even if Tom Cruise is in it. It's called "Lions for Lambs" and it also stars Meryl Streep.

I love the tagline: "If you don't STAND for something, you might FALL for anything."

6. Too bad Columbia pictures shelved it in 2004.
It might have made some difference. Nothing's ever really censored, just strategically delayed.
