What doesn't Verizon censor?
In response to a related post, I wonder if there is anything
Verizon and their competitors do not censor?
With the FISA laws alive, well and already pushing for an
extension
while the laws are not due to expire until February, 2008, why
should
any reasonable person believe every vocal, text (email or
otherwise)
message is not only censored, but likely filed away in the GOP
locked box!

2. Not likely
It seems unlikely that individual text messages are being systematically censored (unless a customer reports abusive text messages or spam).

The real issue is Verizon's policies regarding text message campaigns involving political content. In general, carriers tend to be very strict about the types of text campaigns allowed in their network e.g. sex, spam, etc. However, political content seems to be different than the previously mentioned content.

I guess that we need to see the industry's policies regarding political content in order to evaluate any alleged bias on the part of Verizon.

3. Trusting the industry's policies??
If you believe trusting the content and value of the
"industry's polices"
is really the main issue in this "Big Brother"
climate, you're much more
trusting in CEOS and the GOP than I am.
