Jenna Bush's fiancee wants a job where he can support the environment
Hager, 29, who has been a White House aide and worked on Bush's re-election campaign, will be returning to school this fall to complete his master's degree in business administration at the University of Virginia. He has an undergraduate degree from Wake Forest University.

"He's extremely outdoorsy," she said. "If he could spend every day outside, he would. He's very into the environment, and he was as a child. He hiked a lot. And so, now he's trying to find a job where he can support the environment and, and be outdoors."

Yes, I can see why, after working as a BushCo White House aide, the lad would want a job where he could support the environment instead of help destroy it.

3. sounds like a Newt Gingrich environmentalist
yup, i once heard Newty describe himself as an environmentalist.

I don't think these people understand the enormity of the word "environment". To them, It's just woods and a pretty stream, never mind that the native plants are being choked out my noxious introduced plants, or the streams are populated by fish that should not be there, which have decimated native species. Or the pretty river is too acidic because of industrial pollution, and on and on and on ....

If they understood it, they'd be fighting to truly protect it!

5. I have my doubts...
Somehow I picture him as imagining the "environment" to be private ranges where he can gun down quail that have had their wings clipped.

...Do these people eat the fowl they shoot? I've always wondered. I have a very difficult time imagining Babs cluttering her beautiful mind with the taste of wild (well, semi-wild) bird.

12. Why, then, not a degree in Natural Resources. Why an MBA
if he's so outdoorsy? He probably likes to camp (until the novelty wears off), and to the simpleton members of the Bush family, that would translate to an "extraordinary love of the outdoors.":puke:
