Take note of the first comment below the main article. I don't care what sort of Democrat you are -- if you're truly a progressive, then your support of MoveOn.org ought to be strong and unwavering. Even if you happen to disagree with the words they chose to express the message, their aim is true.

I really don't get the people who disagree so with the message. After all these years at the mercy of the GOP, why should we tippy toe around, being respectful, nice, polite, and try to work in a bipartisan manner?

What has that gotten us?

It's time to lay all the cards out on the table, fight fire with fire, and ask for forgiveness later. The MoveOn ad made its point, and donations are up, so it did its job.

I'm sick of trying to play nice with people who don't know what playing nice is. Enough already!

In short: MoveOn.org is on our side, regardless of the words they use to express the point. If we don't support them, we're allowing ourselves to be divided. The FReepers aren't (all) stupid: if we're divided, we can be conquered; if we stand together, we're unstoppable.
