I think AU (Americans United for the Separation of Church and State) should sponsor a debate. It would definitely be an eye-opener for many and perhaps make some of the potential candidates go "on record" for their views on this major topic of interest. The only problem I would forsee is the RR and their lobbying, or candidates hedging on the issue. If the latter were true, we would certainly know who's a complete liar and who actually has the balls--er, chutzpah--to speak up on this complex issue.

Of course if pubs were in the debate, they could either say that our civil liberties are intact or they'd pretend to be deaf during that question!
