Today's "Other Forum" Bit of Genius:
Quoted comment by Redlight: Give me one
reason why any of these wars are ligitimate and
needed?

Um, well I need gasoline to keep my Ford Excursion
running. I also need pay for that gas with my job
at Raytheon. And since I can't stop buying things
even though i'm so far in debt, my Son needs join
the military to take advantage of the money they
promised him for college if he makes it back alive
and not totally destroyed mentally. Not to
mention my retirement depends certain defense and
energy corporations' stock doing well. So how are
those for reasons why we need to blow up people
that are just going to hell anyway?

Man, this new medication i'm taking is making me
feel awesome.

Conservitol XL: Because who gives a s**t about
anyone but me =)

for something constructive. They have the resources. They have the brainpower. They can make the bids and know the decision makers to sway things their way.

Is it so goddamn tough to use their technology to make a mag-lev train? A bridge? An efficient power plant or two?
